This document describes the Xero integration in ERPLY Books, i.e.  Xero Connector.

Connector is aimed for syncing all documents you have from ERPLY Books to Xero. You can use Connector if you want to get ERPLY POS & inventory transactions into Xero and cannot still switch 100% over to ERPLY Books.

The solution works as follows:

  • You must set up ERPLY Books account.
  • ERPLY Books synchronises all documents from ERPLY POS.
  • ERPLY Books maps every single transaction into correct accounts. To read more what options you have and how you can set this up, read from here: ___
  • You can manually sync all those documents into Xero by syncing documents between different dates.

ERPLY Books syncs from Xero:

  • Accounts
  • Customers
  • Articles
  • Tax Rates

ERPLY Books syncs to Xero:

  • Customers
  • Articles
  • Sales Invoices
  • Purchase Invoices

To use Connector, follow these steps:

  • Create ERPLY Books account from https://app.erplybooks.com/register
  • If you were created incorrect currency then click on the company name and select “add new organisation”. There you can add organisation with correct currency and language.
  • Then search Xero Connector from ERPLY Books dashboard.
  • You must connect then your Xero account with Connector.
  • After that click all those buttons:
    • Pull accounts;
    • Pull articles;
    • Pull tax rates;
    • Pull contacts.
  • After that you must make sure ERPLY Books and ERPLY POS integration is set up correctly:
    • Make sure all payments go to correct account;
    • Make sure all invoices get correct accounts;
    • Etc.
    • Basically ERPLY Books takes invoice that is in Books and sends it with same information to Xero – meaning that if document is synced from ERPLY POS correctly, it will be correctly synced to Xero as well.
  • Now you can sync with ERPLY POS. Please write to support@erplybooks.com to make this sync automatic.
  • After that you sync with Xero.
